I'm not the most well read when it comes to graphic novels but I love the format and am constantly seeking out new stories. Here are my favorites. I'd love some suggestions. Let me know...
Honestly, I don't know if this is actually a graphic novel of a comic book. I do know it's a great fantasy story with beautiful art work.
This is a very personal anthology of four stories. Will Eisner pours his soul out onto these pages as he deals with grief. It's an example of the power of this type of story format.
A low class detective (Difool) banging around in a dystopia world. I'm in. Moebius and Jodorowsky are the geniuses behind the story.
You seen or read this story in many forms - disgraced soldier, samurai, assassin - connects and protects with a child. Never done better than LW&C. Think Road to Perdition or Mandalorian with a sword.
Old west meets space opera meets single mom. Clara Bronson is a mysterious bad-ass.
A nearly universal pick as the greatest Graphic Novel ever. It's a must read.
