January Reads

It's been 18 years since his last book, Dermphoria was published. I'm a huge fan of his debut novel, The Contortionist's Handbook. It's an all time favorite so I have high hopes for this one. - Already finished. Now moving it into the All-Time Favorites.

I'm re-reading this classic and set a goal for myself to re-read at least one classic each quarter. Starting here. It's all philosophy, murder, courtroom stuff and if God exists why does he let us get away with so much shit?

The true story of Michelle Black, wife of a Green Beret soldier killed in an ambush. Thoroughly researched, and often told in the direct words from the survivors of her husbands unit, this is a brutally honest account of the events and an example of how we can question, hold accountable, and still support our institutions.

It's just a book. It won't hurt you but you will learn. We have to all keep educating ourselves.

Greatness examined and detailed. Need a hack? Read this to see how elite level athletes achieve their success.
